Clutter Magnet

Jun 15, 2023

Clutter attracts clutter.

Clutter is a magnet.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t attract ice-cream cones or really anything good at all! No, clutter is a magnet for all the things we’d like to avoid: dust, wasted time, frustration, feeling overwhelmed AND even more clutter.

I’ve seen it in my own home.

That one corner of the counter that isn’t tidy and has accumulated more than it should; left unaddressed, it just attracts more random items. Before I know it, it is a small mound of random papers, pens, rocks (because this is a big collector’s item in my house!), cords, batteries, broken bits, craft supplies, photos, etc. Soon a mound becomes a hill and then a hill becomes a mountain!

Clutter attracts clutter.

Often when things get out of hand and the job seems too big to tackle, we find that clutter also attracts all sorts of negative emotions.

Frustration, lack of motivation and feeling overwhelmed just to name a few.

If the clutter in your home or office is starting to affect how you feel in your space, now is the time to do something about it. If you aren’t sure what to do or where to start, take a big step forward and call Everyday Organized to see how I can help you dig out from under the clutter and reclaim your space and your sanity!
